Trainee CAD Operator

Full-time, Lower Hutt

We’re seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Kāpiti as a Trainee CAD Operator. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for someone eager to develop their skills and grow within our company.

What will you be doing? 

  • Assist in technical draughting using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with our team of land surveyors, civil engineers, and resource management planners.
  • Contribute to the creation of design plans and layouts.
  • Assisting the team where possible 

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • A keen interest in engineering and design, with a strong aptitude for technical and analytical thinking
  • Proficiency in using computer software, and a willingness to learn
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work effectively as part of a team
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
  • NZ Drivers License
