What our team say
I joined Cuttriss after finishing university, and it’s been a great place to start my career. You’re given real responsibility early on, there’s always someone available to answer questions or point you in the right direction.
The role includes a good mix of engineering design and administration in the office, alongside site-based work such as testing, inspections, and meetings.
After my second year of studies, I joined as a Summer Intern, then returned as a Graduate Surveyor once I finished my studies.
What brought me back to Cuttriss was the people. The team is supportive, approachable and always willing to share their knowledge. The culture makes it easy to ask questions, keep learning and build confidence, and I’ve always felt encouraged to grow throughout my career.
I joined Cuttriss because they had a strong reputation for both the quality of their work and their team culture. Since starting here, I’ve found that to be true.
One of my main goals has been to work towards becoming licensed, and Cuttriss has been really supportive of that. They have gone out of their way to help provide the right types of projects, guidance and experience I need to keep progressing. I’ve had the chance to work across surveying, planning and engineering, which has given me a much better understanding of how different parts of land development fit together.
The variety of work is a big part of what I enjoy. I’ve worked on a wide range of projects, learned from a lot of experienced people, and been part of a team that is always happy to share knowledge and help each other out.
It is a good place to grow professionally, while still being an enjoyable place to work. The projects are interesting, the team is supportive, the coffee is good, and the regular social events help create a strong team environment.
