After more than four decades with Cuttriss and 27 years as a Director, Colin McElwain has stepped back from his role as Director to create space for the next generation of leadership. Colin has played a pivotal part in shaping who we are today – his technical expertise, calm guidance and deep understanding of land development have left a lasting legacy within the company and across the industry.

We’re grateful that while he’s stepping back as a Director, Colin isn’t stepping away completely. He’ll continue to share his knowledge and experience with the team, supporting our people and projects as a trusted mentor and advisor.

We’re also proud to announce that Glen Cooper joined the Cuttriss Board of Directors on 1 April 2025. Glen brings a wealth of experience delivering planning approvals for hundreds of homes and multi-unit developments across Aotearoa, especially in Wellington. His commitment to high-quality, well-functioning urban environments aligns strongly with our values and aspirations.

Since joining, Glen has hit the ground running—embedding himself in the business, working closely with our teams, and contributing with energy, insight and purpose. His collaborative style and planning expertise are a great fit with the rest of our leadership team – Nick Taylor, Nicola Todd, Samuel Godwin and Neil Johnstone.

Please join us in thanking Colin for his extraordinary service, and in welcoming Glen to the Cuttriss Directorship.
