Who we are
Cuttriss Consultants Limited (Cuttriss, we, us) is responsible for personal information handled through the Cuttriss app. This policy explains what information the app collects, why it is needed, how it is handled and how to contact us about it.
The app is for Cuttriss staff using their Microsoft work accounts. It is not a consumer product. We handle personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.
Information we Collect and Why

| GPS location and job or site addresses | To identify the relevant site and obtain site weather, address and rainfall information. |
| Photos included in your work records | To document site conditions and support field forms and reports. |
| Information entered into forms and included in generated PDFs | To complete field records and file PDFs in 12d Synergy. |
Photos, forms and PDFs may include personal information about other people where staff include it as part of a job record. Staff should include only information needed for their work.
We do not use app information for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell it. GPS location is used for the site-related functions described above. [Confirm when GPS is accessed, whether any background collection occurs, and its retention.]

Services involved in operating the app
The app uses the following services:

Where information is stored and how it is protected
Information is held on the device while staff prepare their records. Uploaded PDFs are stored in 12d Synergy as Cuttriss job files.
How long information is kept
Information is kept on the device until the staff member uploads or removes it. Uploaded records are retained in 12d Synergy under Cuttriss’s job-record retention arrangements.
Removing a local record or uninstalling the app does not remove a copy already uploaded to 12d Synergy.
Access, correction and deletion requests
You can contact us to ask for access to personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or raise a privacy concern. If we decline a correction, you can ask us to attach a statement of the correction you requested.
You can also ask us to delete personal information associated with your use of the app. Some job records may need to be retained for legitimate business or legal reasons. We will explain any information we need to retain and why.

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or our information-handling practices change. The current version will be available on this page with its update date. We will bring material changes to staff’s attention.
